On Monday, November 21, the Project Soar mural was dedicated at Crossgates Mall, outside of Dick's Sporting Goods. Time Warner Cable News did a feature story on the project. You can view that here.
This glass mosaic mural was created by artists who receive supports from Day Services at Wildwood Programs as an illustration of the vast potential within each of us to transcend limitations and contribute things of lasting meaning and beauty to our communities.

The project was made possible by a grant from New York State Council on the Arts, a State agency, through the Arts Center of the Capital Region, which enabled Wildwood to partner with Crossgates Mall, and mosaic artist, Tamara DeMartino.
